About Special Events

Special events and tournaments are a fun way to get involved without committing to a full season of play. They also allow participants already involved in Intramural Leagues to improve and test their skills.

How to Register Online

Registration Instructions

• Visit the Active.com registration site.
• Click "forgot my password" and enter your U of MN email to obtain your password. Your new username and password will be sent to you via your U of MN email address.
• View the league options for your event.
• Select your desired day and time to play.
• When prompted, enter in your new login and password that you received from steps #1 and #2.
• Enter the necessary credit card information and complete the purchase.
• Print out your confirmation page for verification purposes.

Summer Intramural Registration Opens May 1

Summer Intramural Sports registration will open on May 1. Registration is now managed completely online. Summer sports available are listed below:

Homecoming Volleyball Tourneys

The 2013 Homecoming Volleyball Tournament is now open for pre-registration. Tournament fees are $25 per team, and all games will take place on Sunday, September 22 at the University Recreation and Wellness Center. To register, follow the steps below:

• Click here to sign in
• Select the University of Minnesota (in the center of the tool bar)
• Scroll down to Volleyball Tournament (bottom of the screen)
• Select your division and pay the team fee
• Click "Register/Sign Up."
